Alumni & Stakeholder Engagement has an exciting opening for an Associate Director for Web Development. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The Associate Director for Web Development is responsible managing the digital marketing assets that support the University of Washington Alumni Associations (UWAA) comprehensive marketing programs. This role serves as the technical project manager for all digital asset work, including strategy and planning. They focus on the development and maintenance of the website, mobile applications and digital engagement platforms, all of which are vital outreach vehicles to UWAA and UW stakeholders. They build web applications to support ASE marketing initiatives and are at the forefront of web development, utilizing innovative methodologies and approaches for development, maintenance, user interface design and content strategy.
The Associate Director reports to the Director of ASE Marketing and Communications and supervises two employees.
What You Will Do:
Web/App/Software Development (70%)
Administration (20%)
Other duties as assigned, including event staffing (10%)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in engineering, computer science, programming, development, graphic design, human-computer interaction or related field.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
