CLAD is a groundbreaking initiative by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) All of Us Research Program to gather health data from diverse populations across the United States for research.
The program aims to accelerate research and improve health outcomes by providing investigators with access to a wide swath of health information.
As a Technical Writer for this program, you will contribute to shaping the future of biomedical research by ensuring accurate representation of project materials and results, which are key communications of research advancements.
Overall Position Summary and Objectives: The project manager will join a national, highly interactive, supportive, and interdisciplinary group of technologists, researchers and information experts.
They will support development of approaches that derive insights from data to lead to advances in research, clinical practice and personalized medicine.
This highly skilled professional will have experience in managing overall project activities in an agile technical fast-paced environment.
This motivated individual will work collaboratively on interrelated technical and research project teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
Examples of Work Performed:Manage a geographically-distributed and interdisciplinary project, create project plans, manage deliverables, including timelines, risks and coordination of cross-functional tasks using product and project management software.
Proactively manages project deliverables, activities and scope of works to completion.
Develops project management plans in partnership with leadership and team members.
Oversee and coordinate agile technical development activities such as use-case and functional requirements gathering, testing, user-centered evaluation and documentation.
Identify, schedule and organize appropriate and effective meetings for various activities.
Manages the meetings to make progress on projects.
Assist with goal-oriented agendas, coordinate slides for presentations, facilitate meetings, capture purpose-delivered action items and decisions and distribute information to the attendees.
Work with project managers of other teams to drive multi-institutional projects.
Work collaboratively to increase the productivity and accountability of a team that is developing transformational software for bioinformatics.
Conduct project analysis and report information to project teams, project leaders, program leaders and government as appropriate.
Develop and tracks project budgets to ensure target alignment throughout the project life cycle.
Effectively communicate goals and status of work, including all requirements to internal and external project teams, stakeholders and project funding officers.
Assist with event planning (online and eventually, in-person).
Required Skills:Experience with managing virtual teamsFamiliar with agile methodologyMeticulous organization (eg.
