Position Summary Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve. Position Details We are hiring for a Full‑time 2nd shift Pharmacy Training Coordinator for our new Central Fill in Litchfield Park, AZ. This position is not remote and requires working onsite. Salary $24.00 per hour – increases based on years of experience; plus a 2.00 dollar second‑shift differential. Schedule Hours: 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM Schedules are four days per week, 40 hours total. Workdays: 7 days a week The schedule will be established based on production needs. Preferred Experience Experience facilitating or training in a group setting. Strong organization and communication skills. Proficiency in utilizing training software and tools. Minimum Qualifications Candidate must hold an active state license for Pharmacy Technician in Arizona. Candidate must also hold an active/valid national certification issued by either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Association (ExCPT). One year of experience in a pharmacy environment (e.g., central fill, specialty, retail, mail order) or one year’s experience training other associates/employees. Must obtain national certification within the first 12 months of employment. Job Duties Provide support for associate training in Pharmacy and Health and Wellness areas by coordinating and facilitating certification courses (e.g., Pharmacy Technician University) and computer‑based learning courses; prepare, review, analyze, and monitor reports, logs, and forms related to training participation, process reports, compliance, and SOP documentation. Train associates in Pharmacy and Health and Wellness areas – instruct on the proper preparation, operation, and troubleshooting of machinery; distribute training materials; provide feedback and respond to questions on equipment operation; and follow up with associates to ensure completion of training. Develop training programs and materials by conducting needs analysis, identifying and developing content and materials, adapting existing content, and evaluating training effectiveness. Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; analyze information from multiple sources; monitor progress and results; and identify and address improvement opportunities. Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply them in business processes; implement action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determine customer needs and business priorities; coordinate and execute work assignments; provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and quality; and model and help others adapt to change or new challenges.
