(Hybrid) Order Management Specialist Apply
SolomonEdwards is partnering with a leading, global leader in the manufacturing of rigid and flexible packaging and specialty film solutions. In this role you are the liaison between our Client and the End-Customer! You coordinate all in-house contact with assigned customers, salespeople and Client employees who are placing orders or making inquiries related to product availability, orders, order status, or shipment dates.This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a strong history of on-time conversion to permanent employment for high-performers.What you'll do:Processes orders and keeps track of deadlines, including order entry, order tracking and invoicing in the system.Securing and tracking customer complaints; contact person for escalations of complex complaints/issues.Support resolving credit holds (together with Sales Admin/SCC).Handles order changes in cooperation /supported by with all relevant departments.Monitors late orders, conducts follow-up and coordination with relevant departments such as Sales and Logistics.Managing delivery dates & late orders with proactive communication.Responds to customer and sales inquiries regarding order status.Enter customer cases in Salesforce.Support with conducting second edit process for orders entered in SAP.Be able to fill in as back up in the event of planned PTO or emergencies.What we're looking for: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong English skills both written and verbally.Comfortable with email communication.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages area, circumference, and volume.
