*****3rd Shift - General Laborer******
Position Summary:Responsible for, and has the authority for, the total packaging of a quality container ina safe, efficient manner. Functions within an ISO and team environment effectively.Loads box maker with knocked down boxes.Folds and inserts dividers into constructed boxes.Folds and sets up corrugated trays.Palletizes and stretch wraps bottles.Inspects all plastic containers before packing.Packs plastic containers into boxes.Remove boxes from conveyors, stacking and orienting boxes into units.Bands units.Grinds defective bottles in appropriate grinding areas.Observes all local and Company safety policies and procedures, as well as allhousekeeping requirements.Duties and responsibilities may vary and change due to product specifications.Provides break relief on lines for team members as assigned by supervision.Completes required in-process checks.Completes quality checks.Ability to utilize SAP and scanning equipment for production purposes.Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiateaction.Miscellaneous related duties as assigned.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:1. Previous mechanical experience/mechanically inclined2. Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment3. Basic computer skills4. Ability to lift 50 pounds and to stand throughout entire shift.5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.6. Manual dexterity.7. Good eye and hand coordination.8. Effective communication skills.
