<p><strong>Role: Data Engineer</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Durham NC (Any 3 days onsite in a complete month)</strong></p> <p><strong>Duration: Long Term</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="margin-left:-18.0pt;">The core skills are Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and DB2 on Linux experience.</li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="margin-left:-18.0pt;">The secondary skills are snowflake and AWS Cloud experience. They will hire someone without the cloud experience as long as they are willing to learn and show the right foundation for working on those platforms.</li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="margin-left:-18.0pt;">Must have DB2 on Linux, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Snowflake/AWS/Azure a huge plus.</li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="margin-left:-18.0pt;">The current platform is hosted on an older system, so this is a modernization process to get things hosted on AWS Cloud (Azure for some groups)/ Snowflake. Some of the Data is already in Snowflake and some is still on the older system. So, they want to move the Db2 on Linux component over to Snowflake over the next 2 years.</li> </ul> <p> </p>
