Complete Description: The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking a well-qualified full stack developer (Programmer 3/PR3) for 40 hours a week to further develop and maintain the Work Zone Management System (WZMS) and various internal web and data applications. The candidate will work with a Data Manager, GIS Manager, other IT staff, and business staff in a dynamic environment committed to delivering projects with public and internal impact. Specific responsibilities for this position include: analyzing and designing enhancements, developing programs, and/or implementing fixes to production systems; designing applications to functional and technical programming standards; develop system specifications and interfaces; developing application designs in support of system specifications and interfaces; working with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements; and, determining time estimates and schedules for assigned work and resolving issues in a timely manner. Ability to collaborate, negotiate and take direction from the supporting resources across business and/or functional lines Possess excellent communication skills; both oral and written skills including strong meeting and work session skills Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills Demonstrate proven experience in troubleshooting issues Required: Four year college degree or equivalent technical study with 2+ years professional experience within the last 5 years, or 3+ years professional experience within the last 5 years without a degree Required Technologies: ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, C# Angular2 experience highly preferred, but will consider other SPA framework experience as well if willing to learn Angular HTML, CSS, modern Javascript (ES5+), Typescript Proficient in SQL (Structured Query Language), with preference for familiarity with T-SQL and SQL Server Version control systems (TFS, Git) Python 3 experience or a willingness to learn is highly desired Desired: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
