Reputable subcontractor with 35 years of experience serving the Bay Area is looking for a hands on Accounting Manager. Positions is direct hire, onsite and based in the Palo Alto Area. Salary budget is $110 - 130K with comprehensive benefits and retirement offerings.
Ideal candidate will bring indepth knowledge for construction accounting experience and leadership.
- General Ledger
- Billing and Collections
- Oversee AP Posting, Lien Reports
- Payroll Functions with Paychecks
- Produce Job Reports, "WIP Schedules"
- Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of business
- Monitor financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs.
Qualifications
- BA Degree in finance and accounting preferred
- 7+ years of professional accounting experiene with 3+ years of constrution industry knowledge
- Knowledge of job costing, WIP reports
- Ability to work in office, fulltime
