In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, extensible Web API services within a modular plugin architecture, working across authentication, authorization, endpoint routing, and integration layers. You will collaborate closely with product and professional services teams to deliver standardized API endpoints that connect internal platform components and external systems. The ideal candidate brings strong backend fundamentals, a thoughtful approach to API design, and experience working in enterprise environments where reliability, security, and clean architecture matter.Key ResponsibilitiesProficiency in C# and .NET Core, with hands-on experience building and deploying Web APIsStrong MSSQL Server skills including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuningExperience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT-based authentication, and role/group-based authorizationFamiliarity with RESTful API design principles and OpenAPI/Swagger documentationUnderstanding of modular or plugin-based architectures, including interface contracts and dependency injectionExperience with structured logging frameworks such as Serilog or Log4NetFamiliarity with IIS/Kestrel hosting and Azure Key Vault or similar secrets managementExposure to enterprise integration patterns such as API gateways, service buses, or middleware platformsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills across application and database layersAbility to collaborate across product development and professional services teamsRequired Qualifications.NET & C# Expertise: Proficient in C# and .NET Core, with hands-on experience developing and deploying Web APIs, implementing modular architectures, and utilizing dependency injection.Database & Performance: Strong MSSQL Server skills including schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and debugging across application and database layers.Security & API Design: Experienced with OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, role/group-based authorization, RESTful API design, and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.Enterprise & Cloud Integration: Familiar with IIS/Kestrel hosting, Azure Key Vault, structured logging frameworks (Serilog/Log4Net), and enterprise integration patterns including API gateways and service buses.
