This includes the provision and support of networking, information systems, audio visual and a wide range of IT-related services and solutions. OIT comprises of several functional groups with responsibility for different aspects of services.The .NET Technical Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise information systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, ability to lead development activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions and exposure in Artificial Intelligence (AI).What You Will DoSupport the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems and applications.Define system architecture and technical design, and lead coding, testing, and deployment activities.Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training, pre-implementation preparation, and post-implementation support.Assist in the preparation of project specifications, technical documentation, and tracking of project schedules and deliverables.Participate in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and data conversions.Ensure system security, integrity, availability, and business continuity controls are maintained and documented.Develop and maintain APIs and integration services using modern architecture styles such as REST .Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to deliver high-quality technical solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and system-related issues in a timely manner.Who We Are Looking ForTechnical Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in ASP.NET framework using .NET languages such as:C#Visual Basic .NETProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and web application development.Experience in database design, stored procedures, triggers, and scripting using:Microsoft SQL ServerExperience in API development and integration (REST, RPC).Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration, configuration, and architecture.Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and relational database design.Experience with system deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization.Qualifications & RequirementsAt least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in .NET application development.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Good written, communication, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, positive attitude, customer-service oriented, and a strong team player.Preferred/Advantageous SkillsKnowledge of Power BI for reporting and analytics.Experience in scripting or automation (e.g., Batch scripting, PowerShell, or Python).Working knowledge of Python for automation, data processing, or AI-related tasks.Basic understanding or practical experience in AI/ML technologies or tools (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Python for ML, ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs).Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts, with practical application in software development.Exposure in integrating AI services into applications, such as Azure AI Services, OpenAI APIs, or similar platforms.
