Role Summary Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong accounting foundation, exceptional financial modeling skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment. This role is critical in building scalable financial processes and driving strategic decision‑making through robust financial and economic modeling. Experience in innovative or technology‑driven industries is highly valued. Responsibilities Build comprehensive financial models from the ground up to evaluate business opportunities, assess financial viability, and support strategic planning. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to inform decision‑making and assess potential risks. Incorporate economic factors, market trends, and industry dynamics into financial models to enhance accuracy and relevance. Develop and manage financial forecasts, including revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow projections. Support the creation and refinement of long‑term financial plans and capital allocation strategies. Collaborate with business units to translate operational plans into detailed financial projections. Provide insights into economic trends and their implications on company performance. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to senior leadership. Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and recommend actionable strategies. Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports to communicate financial data, insights, and recommendations to senior management and investors. Ensure financial data integrity and provide timely updates to stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and modeling, preferably in manufacturing, mining, or technology‑driven industries. Expertise in building financial models from scratch using Excel or similar tools. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and economic concepts. Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, startup environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex financial information clearly. Self‑starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $90,000–$130,000 total cash compensation plus equity. Total package may vary based on experience and qualifications.
