Position Responsibilities Ability to operate a Forklift machine (sit down & stand up) Pick orders Use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory Manages pick ticket orders Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, quantity, etc. Ensures that orders are accurate Stages items correctly for delivery Ability to read incoming order requests Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment Identify safety hazards in the workplace Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods Perform other duties as needed Qualifications Minimum 1+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset Proficient in math Detail oriented Strong understanding of OSHA regulations Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace Able to lift 50 pounds with / without accommodations High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies and requirements The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $20/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
