DSPs assist individuals in achieving their highest level of independence through residential services, day habilitation, and community supports in accordance with HHSC, HCS, TxHmL, and Performance Contract Standards. This position may require rotating schedules, flexible hours, and independent work. The DSP reports directly to the immediate supervisor. Assist consumers with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed, provide lifting, repositioning, and transferring assistance safely and respectfully, Deliver personal care in the least intrusive manner possible. Position requires either a High School Diploma, GED, or 3 letters of reference and the completion of a WTC competency test. Must be proficient in reading and writing.
