Ameron Pole Products, an Arcosa company, is seeking a detail-oriented 3D CAD Technician to support Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service. In this role, you will create accurate 3D models, shop drawings, material lists, and product submittal packages for steel traffic and lighting structures, based on customer specifications, plan sheets, calculations, and purchase orders. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, values precision, and prioritizes safety in all work. Join our team onsite at one of our locations in Tulsa, OK; Canton, OH; or Sumterville, FL. What You'll Do Create and modify documents and drawings using Autodesk applications and Microsoft Office to assemble submittal packages for customer approval and shop drawings for fabrication Create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor to aid in the creation of submittal and shop drawings Create new parts within Oracle along with associated drawings and documentation Assess if customer requests are within company manufacturing capabilities Review purchase orders, design layouts and material lists to identify and resolve any issues with fit up, accuracy, or ambiguity Coordinate with Engineers, Sales, Customer Service, and shop personnel to ensure accuracy of information Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by supervisor What You'll Need Associate degree (or Certificate) in Engineering Technology or 3+ years of AutoCAD experience 3+ years of experience working with Autodesk Inventor or other 3D Modeling Software Experience related to steel or metal manufacturing, fabrication, or substation design is a plus Familiarity with Oracle is a plus Competent in mathematics Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products Familiarity with AASHTO, ASCE, AWS, and ASTM is a plus Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks on time #J-18808-Ljbffr
