Our client is searching for an Administrative Assistant to help them manage their operations as they continue to grow to new heights.

In this role, you will support senior team members with a variety of administrative tasks. You must have strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You will collaborate with employees, suppliers, and owners to help with day-to-day operational activities.

You will gain diverse experience working on exciting projects related to the growth of their organization. Conveniently located right off Highway 400 and only 15 minutes from Yorkdale, they offer a collaborative, team-oriented environment where your contributions will make an impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering the telephone, office reception
  • Mail Pick-up and distribution
  • Maintaining Databases/data entry
  • Inventory management (monitors, keyboards, etc.) and office supply maintenance
  • Managing calendars, booking meetings and appointments, and prioritizing requests
  • Handling incoming inquiries and responding appropriately
  • Assisting in the preparation of meetings
  • Preparing meeting agenda, attending and taking minutes
  • Arranging travel, transportation with some financial responsibility
  • Office administration includes filing, storing, and neatly organizing the office space
  • Expense report management
  • Company Equipment Management
  • Assist with corporate and executive projects as needed
  • Managing accounts payable
  • Vendor management
  • Onboarding/Offboarding of employees
  • Benefits administration
  • Social committee management (employee engagement, corporate events)
  • Updating and maintaining policies and procedures

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy, an enthusiastic positive individual able to support the fast-paced business environment
  • Effective in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions with a high level of integrity
  • Flexible to perform a variety of different duties in the office as it relates to office management and executive support
  • Able to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines including last-minute requests
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Demonstrate innovation, integrity, fairness, and respect
  • Eager to learn and shows initiative
  • Very organized
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • University degree required.
