Job Title: System Administrator
Job location: Lancing. MI

Desired Skills:
o Tableau Server Administration: A strong understanding of Tableau Server, including
installation, configuration, backup, and restore, and user/group management.
o BI Platform Administration: Knowledge of administering BI tools, including managing
user access, security, and data sources, and handling software updates and upgrades.
o Technical Troubleshooting: The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them
in a timely manner. Familiarity with SQL and other database technologies is an
advantage.
o Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize performance of BI tools and database
systems, including monitoring usage and utilization, capacity planning, and optimizing
queries.
o Automation and Scripting: Experience with scripting and automation tools for
deployment and maintenance of Tableau/BI systems.
o Communication Skills: The ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical
and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
o Collaboration: The ability to collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders
in a multi-functional environment.
o Continuous Learning: Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest Tableau and BI
trends, tools, and technologies and to continuously improve their skills and knowledge.
o Project Management: Experience with managing projects and tasks related to Tableau
and BI systems, including creating plans, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
Top Skills and Years of Experience:
o Heavily prefer someone with tableau admin experience
o 3 years+ experience
o IT Degree preferred
o Not fresh out of college, needs some experience
o Manage & install license keys on server
o Manage & install creator keys on server
o Loading software to new servers
