AWS Cloud Engineer Apply
Client is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer with experience in designing and building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
This position is based in NYC, NY.
Responsibilities:
Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.
Set up a monitoring stack.
Define service capacity planning strategies.
Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar.
Required Skills:
Experience with designing and building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
Ability to write code using AWS security best practices and Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)
Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM).
Ability to integrate mobile and web apps on cloud
Experience with event driven and serverless architecture.
Hands-on experience working with AWS services like API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, RDS, SES, SNS, IAM, SQS, s3, Elasticache, EMR, Redshift, etc.
Has ability to develop and utilize API's effectively
Experience with designing Multi Tenancy using best practices.
Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
Experience with deploying apps using Kubernetes and Gitlab
Previous exposure to large-scale systems design.
Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
Experience in health care domain & FHIR knowledge will be a great plus.
Experience with integrating EHR systems will be great plus.
Experienced in Node JS
Experienced in Python
Have good understanding of Development and cloud best practices.
Education:
B.S. or higher in computer science or engineering
