Position The Manager, Chemical Process Engineering engineering will manage the chemical process engineering development in support of Radioisotope processing in compliance with FDA/cGMP regulations and standards. This position requires a hands-on leader that can engage directly in problem solving, development, developing standards and processes, as well as managing the team. Duties and Responsibilities Develop project plans, schedules, test plans, and other project documentation. Track progress to schedule, guide the team to meet deliverables. work collaboratively with Engineering teams in specifying new production equipment/fixtures, design and development, factory acceptance testing, and full validation in accordance with FDA cGMP regulations. Support NorthStar's program to develop and deploy accelerators for the production of radioisotopes. Work with supporting scientists and engineers at Argonne and Los Alamos National Laboratories currently working on this project under National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) funding. manage a team of Chemical Process Engineers responsible for development/scale up of new processes, as well as support of existing processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and 5 or more years of experience in the development of chemical processes including deployment of chemical processing equipment in a regulated environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Direct experience implementing chemical processes into production required.
