Position Description:
The Intercompany and Treasury Accountant will be responsible for the reporting of intercompany accounts payable and accounts receivable activity of Continental Automotive Systems, Inc. legal entity and its related consolidation units.
In this role, the Accountant also performs necessary month end close procedures, account reconciliations, and supports our Plants and Business Units.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build a strong partnership with internal customers in business units, plants, and central function departments
•Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual month end close processes
• Prepare monthly journal entries for intercompany accounting topics
• Prepare assigned monthly account reconciliations and analyze account activity for any necessary adjustments •Perform accurate and timely processing of intercompany invoices
• Prepare ICO AP reconciliation by trading partner monthly • Lead and coordinate the clean-up of various intercompany accounts by meeting with business units and trading partners
•Perform monthly confirmations with all trading partners
• Complete payment and receipt of intercompany transactions with all affiliated Continental locations
•Support ad hoc requests for various intercompany and treasury topics for audit or other projects Additional Responsibilities:
• Support Governance, Risk and Compliance testing
• Support quarterly reviews, control testing, and annual financial statement audit by external auditors
• Prepare related monthly, quarterly, and year-end footnotes

• Proficiency with SAP and FIRE
Experience Required
• 2 or more years accounting experience
Education Required
• Bachelor’s Degree (with emphasis in Accounting is a plus)
