JOB DESCRIPTION:

Level II: 3-5 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative functions in support of the production department in a paint manufacturing facility.

• Hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm M-F. Some OT required. Some schedule flexibility.
• Office within a paint manufacturing facility. Some walking in the facility where odors may be present.
• Plant and warehouses are heated.
• Drug test mandatory prior to starting.
• Background check mandatory but can start work pending results.
• Follow Covid protocols such as masking when working around others.
• Wear safety glasses, safety shoes, other Personal Protective Equipment as required when in the manufacturing areas.

Starting Pay: $20
Basic Qualifications:
• Computer skills, comfortable using Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with an ERP system such as Navision, SAP, Oracle a plus.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Ability to record and retrieve key information in a computer system.
• Willingness to learn and comply with safety rules for factory/warehouse environments and other company specific requirements
• Basic math skills

Job duties may include:
• Reviewing production tickets to ensure the correct material quantities and other information were recorded.
• Checking inventory of raw materials to ensure sufficient quantities to make paint batches.
• Identify and resolve inventory issues in the computer system.
• Enter information from production tickets into computer system and closing the work orders in the system.
• Printing production tickets and associated information required to process a paint batch, assembling the information in a ticket sleeve, and delivering to the production manager or a production employee.
• Other office and administrative activities as required.
