Department Specialist
Pay Rate: $19.00 /HR
*Remote Work from Home/ No Physical Office Location


Cortech is seeking a Department Specialist in Tacoma, WA.


Description
•Maintains complex records.
•Timely fulfillment of export ocean and air orders. Follow up with customers by pro-actively informing the status of their shipments and answering questions.
•High level of data entry and order processing (80% of time).
•Collects data/information for department use in special projects or reports.
•Quick resolution of claims; vendor and customer.
•Answers department phones as needed and routes to appropriate area.
•Reviews information/data and makes decisions within well-defined guidelines, parameters, and instruction.
•Sorts, files and maintains invoices, receipts, contracts, or other special department documents.
•Ensuring vendor fill rates and service levels to SVI.

Requirements:
• Excellent writing, math and communication skills needed with export customers.
• Ability to follow verbal or written instruction.
• Keyboarding proficiency.
• Advanced Computer skills: word processing and/or Excel spreadsheets with working knowledge of V Lookups.
• Must be able to handle multiple project, priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
