JOB DESCRIPTION :

Diageo Canada Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator (4 month contract) for our site located in Valleyfield. Diageo Canada Inc. is a global company specializing in the production and bottling of alcoholic products. Our products are known around the world: Smirnoff, Guinness, Crown Royal, Captain Morgan, to name a few.

The Valleyfield plant is engaged in a process of employee involvement and continuous improvement. The candidate will be called upon to contribute in all spheres of human resources management and labor relations activities, but in particular in the exercise of pay equity for unionized employees and managers.

Main Responsibilities:

Participate in the pay equity exercise for unionized and managerial employees;

Participate in the recruitment process for the plant;

Participate in the integration of new employees;

Prepare and update various reports;

Participate in various committees;

Remain in close communication with various internal and external stakeholders;

Classify employee files;

Any other related task as an HR generalist.

Education and experience:

DEC or Bachelor's degree in administration / human resources management / industrial relations or a related field;

Have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar position (unionized environment, an asset);

Have a strong interest in compensation and pay equity;

Excellent command of MS Office (Excel advanced level);

French-English bilingualism, spoken and written (an asset);

Presents a high level of integrity, confidentiality and transparency;

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make good decisions quickly using experience and judgment, even when working with incomplete information or under pressure;

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files while respecting deadlines.
