About the position
An Appian Architect is responsible for the architecture & design of the Appian Applications, along with ensuring best practices, and design recommendations from Appian are followed.

To succeed in this role, you will collaborate with our business analysts, developers, and software testers to create solutions that meet quality standards and stakeholder needs.


What you'll do
  1. Be responsible for Application architecture, design & development.
  2. Work with the Client to set up COE to establish best practices.
  3. Work with businesses to translate the functional requirement to Appian business flows with the help of Process Models, Rules, CDTs, and Web service Integration.
  4. Be involved in getting requirements, designing for them, and mapping the same to business processes.
  5. Work with system owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system.
  6. Work with business analysts to understand desired system requirements and write functional and technical specifications.
  7. Help in identifying the non-functional requirements, and technical debt in existing applications and work with the team to cover those
  8. Perform code reviews, test case reviews, and deployment reviews.
  9. Review estimate the level of effort required.
  10. Setup coding, testing, and delivery of best practices

What you'll bring

15+ years of experience: Hands-on experience with a Process model, SAIL, Expression Rules, and Integration; experience in designing and developing integrations with 3rd party systems; and experience in DB management.

Knowledge: sound knowledge of best practices suggested by Appian in designing the solutions; knowledge of Agile Scrum and tools like JIRA; CDT Expert on designating the reports and developing those using Appian Understand the rules
Good to have exposure to other BPM or low-code tools and technologies like RPA, Pega, Nintex, etc
Excellent communication and client interaction experience
