CorTech is looking to hire an Applications Program Manager in Santa Clara, CA.


Key Qualifications:

Master or Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, CIS, MIS or equivalent At least 15 years’ experience in IT application management including managing and motivating technical personnel.
10 year experience in managing teams using ITIL processes
Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following business areas Finance, Human Resources, Administration (e.g. Document Management), Web & Digital, Utility Billing, Land Management, Public Safety
Be knowledgeable of the Customer’s business strategy, objectives, processes and operations (including Customer departments)
Be knowledgeable about the assigned Service Tower(s), knowledgeable about other Service Provider Service Tower services that impact their assigned area(s), knowledgeable about Service Provider subcontractor and Third Party services and how all of these integrate to provide Services for the Customer Previous working experience in project management implementing business applications.
Be experienced at managing day-to-day operations of business applications
The Applications Program Manager supervises Contract Staff members including Application Analysts, and Business Analysts.
This position requires 10 to 15 years of management experience in an Information Technology environment supporting at least 1,000 users and must possess excellent communication skills and resource optimization experience along with strong technical experience in various environments.
The role is also responsible for evaluating and recommending solutions by working with all Customer groups impacted.
Experience with Public Sector and Local Municipalities is expected, along with experience with key applications that commonly support these customers.
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is an expectation.
The Applications Program Manager has overall responsibility for management of the Applications Portfolio (including strategy and Roadmap), the Plan of Record, and portfolio definition and strategic roadmaps as well as leadership of the Applications Services team. Project Management and Service Delivery
Manages the delivery and implementation of services within planned timelines, budget, margins and quality specifications.
Consistently delivers high value, "client ready" work with minimal supervision.
Applies business process methodologies to client business problems.
Combines knowledge of business process methodologies with a deep knowledge of their domain and/or solution to sell, design and deliver a full range of solutions.
Leads and/or supports the implementation of change management, business process redesign or information planning
Consistently achieves or exceeds engagement revenue, margin, service level objectives and quality targets.
Effectively manages engagement risks, identifying and promptly notifying senior management of the potential impact of such risks and alternative approaches to mitigating them.
Client Relationship Management :

Builds 'client for life' relationships. Interfaces with the client's technical executives to understand their business challenges and recommend innovative integrated business solutions.
Participates in new business opportunities and add-on opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth within the client.
Manages the performance of internal and external service providers in order to ensure the implementation of deliverables and resulting client satisfaction. Interfaces with sub-contractors.
May write accurate and effective statements of work so that both the client and Unisys staff understands the project expectations and roles.
May create change orders when additional work is required is outside the original contracted scope and/or services proposal.
People Management:

Manages and leads a span up to 20 associates (direct or matrixed), including their training, development, performance and career path.
Advocates and models a strong focus on performance management, development, career growth, engagement, and diversity within the practice.
Attracts and appropriately motivates professionals to achieve or exceed growth, productivity and profitability targets.
Works with Unisys recruiting to maintain a pipeline of outside experienced professionals.
Provides appropriate mentoring, feedback, training and development opportunities to help individuals within the practice reach their full potential.
Utilizes a collaborative working style that stresses teamwork and places
