Cortech is seeking an Assembler in Green Tree, PA.


Key Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Fabrication Specialist will perform skilled manufacturing functions related to fabricating, troubleshooting, and repairing of electro-mechanical equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Able to assemble slip, compression, threaded pipe fittings, according to drawings.
• Proficient with shop machinery and hand tools (examples: drills, saws, nail guns, etc.).
• Able to work in a shop environment (dust, noise, odors).
• Ability to read and follow documented instructions.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Work with little or no supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications
• High School Degree or GED Equivalent.
• A skilled trade degree, certification, or 2 years equivalent in industrial equipment assembly.
• Able to read and interpret production drawings and Bills of Material.
• Basic computer skills (examples: data entry, Internet/e-mail, etc.).
