Description:

Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions. Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications. Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
Outcomes: The successful candidate will:Be responsible for assembling and packaging various Respironics medical devices in an ISO and FDA regulated environment.Be responsible for working within the Demand Flow Technology® (DFT) system to produce quality products with minimal assembly and paperwork errors.Be a team player in order to work flexibly within any area of assemblyAcquire a working knowledge of departmental procedures and administrative activities which include, but are no limited to the following: accurate completion of Device History Records, inventory control processes (Kanban, Materials Movement forms, time tickets, pick lists, etc), lot tracking scrap reporting, sequence cards, and other administrative duties.Demonstrate a personal commitment towards continuous improvement and the willingness to vocalize suggestions and concerns, while assisting with idea generation for solution, in a positive manner during the daily team meetingsBehaviors: The successful candidate will demonstrate:Building Team SpiritSelf DevelopmentCreativity and InnovationTechnical LearningGrowth: The successful candidate will:Take accountability to execute their personal development plan to grow with in current role and to prepare for future rolesQualifications: Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent , requiredExperience: Experience in manufacturing, service, clerical or related field, required. Prior assembly experience, preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in reading, math, and manual dexterity, required.Key Competencies: Market Foresight, Teaming, Learning AgilitySpecial Competencies: Customer Focus, Action-Oriented, Building Team Spirit, Problem Solving, Ethics & Values, Written Communication, Interpersonal Savvy, Peer Relations, Technical LearningPhysical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing on a continuous basis in order to move efficiently to other work areas, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, ability to reach, and ability to use fine manipulation skills.Â


Experience: 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization. Education: High-school/Associates or equivalent experience if applicable. Certification if applicable. Position, align, fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools, rivet guns, and welding equipment. Construct or assemble an entire product or component of a product.
