Will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy. <br/> <br/> <br/>Position Summary: <br/>The Assembly Technician position is responsible for routine and repetitive assembly of filters using a variety of fixtures and techniques. This position will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy. <br/> <br/>Essential Functions: <br/>• Follow directions and standard work practices to assemble housing units for filter components <br/>• Responsible for accurate product count matching customers’ needs <br/>• Prepare products for shipping by packing and labeling product based on customers’ requirements <br/>• Ensure Parker Hannifin’s quality standards are being upheld by using different quality assurance equipment including handheld and mounted devices <br/>• Use a variety of power and hand tools to tighten, lubricate, torque and fixate components of housing unit <br/>• Prepares necessary paperwork and reports <br/>• Work area must be clean and clear at all times <br/>• Capable of pulling components for routers <br/>• Ability to read a print <br/>• Ability to navigate on computer i.e. 3270, Enovia <br/>• Ability to perform basic electrical wiring i.e. filter cart <br/>• Must be able to perform and lifting requirements in all areas of assembly <br/>• Perform these and other duties as requested by the supervisor <br/> <br/>Qualifications: <br/>• Manufacturing experience is preferred <br/>• Knowledge of diagrams to ensure proper specifications are being met <br/>• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally <br/>• U.S. Citizenship required <br/>• Ability to work overtime as needed <br/> <br/>Additional Requirements: <br/>• Training shift to be determined. <br/>• Starting rate for full time hires dependent on level of experience and qualifications. <br/>• Shift premium added to hours worked on 2nd and 3rd shift. <p><b>Additional Requirements</b></p><p> High School or equivalent</p><p><b>Additional Info : </b></p><p>Location : <br> </p>
