Job Summary
Employees in the Assembler role are responsible to support the manufacturing process assemble components into finished goods in accordance with predetermined safety, quality, method and sequence standards. Employees in the Assembler role may be expected to rotate to different workstations or they may be required to work in a specific workstation depending on experience, staffing needs, training and skill level to perform work tasks.
Responsibilities:
Adherence to work and safety rules and company policy.
Must maintain regular attendance.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Ability to work in a high volume assembly process while continually standing.
Ability to communicate is key to follow work instruction.
Essential tasks and physical function
Assemblers safely perform highly repetitive work to strict quality standards. Typical tasks include but are not limited to:
Using power pneumatic and hand tools
Loading and unloading onto conveyors and carts
Hanging and unhanging parts
Operating machines and presses
Performing quality checks and tests.
Work any shift and work overtime as necessary to ensure that production demands are met.
Work multiple jobs both within and outside his/her assigned product area.
Use all required safety gear and equipment.
Comply with all established Plant rules and policies.
Maintain acceptable attendance records at all times.
Contribute in a positive manner to the work teams in his/her assigned work area.
2nd Shift: 2:30 pm-11:00 pm
