1st shift: $15.00 per hour to start.
2nd shift $15.30 per hour to start.

As an Assembly operator, you will work as part of a team in a manufacturing environment to produce high-quality automotive parts which will become interior assemblies that meet company standards.
The primary duties of an Assembly operator include, but are not limited to:
• Attending Daily Shift meetings;
• Ensuring 100% delivery to the customer;
• Working shifts and overtime as necessary;
• Ensuring health and safety requirements and procedures are adhered to.
• Carrying out Process to correct Quality and Production Standards within cycle time;
• Taking part and improving effectiveness using Lean Manufacturing methods;
• Installing and maintaining 5S standards;
• Escalating issues to Team Leader/ Shift Leader as necessary;
• Working flexibly in order to meet customer demands and needs;
• Ensuring Product Quality by following standards and inspection requirements
• Maintaining equipment in excellent working condition
• Understanding and behaving in accordance with the company's code of ethics
• Reporting any concerns to supervisor
• Participating in training to understand and improve skills related to your position
• Additional Duties as assigned
An ideal Assembly Operator candidate will have:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 Months Experience in production; automotive experience preferred
• Basic Comprehension of lean manufacturing techniques preferred
• Basic Reading Comprehension
• Basic Math Skills
• Ability to follow direction
• Attention to detail
• Flexible attitude toward continuous improvement
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Ability to work and communicate effectively
• Ability to work under pressure to tight schedules
• Ability to work on any shift
• Ability to work overtime with little or no notice
