Position: System Analyst 6 Location : Lansing, Michigan Interviews: MS TEAMS Video with camera on and integrated audio used. 1 round interview; 1 hour in duration Duration: One year; extension likely Position location:111 S. Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI, 48933 (position will move hybrid in May; 2 days onsite required) (open to non-local candidates who are willing to relocate for hybrid work model) Job Description: Overview: We all want our experience with government to be smooth and easy, but rarely does it feel like that's the case. The State of Michigan is working to change that. As a Business System Analyst on the eMichigan team, you will join a group of architects, developers, designers, and end user support analysts responsible for documenting requirements and testing enhancements to the enterprise web content management system that supports all Michigan.gov websites. Additionally, this role will work with a team of developers in the creation of high-impact projects across all of state government. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and designers. We need someone who can create outstanding user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, work with the developers on ensuring understanding of the requirements and then develop and execute test cases to ensure high quality output to our user base. Responsibilities: Meet with clients to understand business needs and clarify requirements Take requests submitted by clients and frame them into user stories with detailed acceptance criteria for developers. Develop comprehensive test cases for requirements Execute test cases and document results Skills: Experience with gathering business requirements from end users and stakeholders Experience leading user workshops and facilitating sessions Experience with developing user stories with detailed acceptance criteria that will be utilized by developers in their tasks Experience with developing comprehensive test cases Experience with executing test cases and providing detailed information on failures for development team remediation Experience with automated testing is desirable but not required for this position. Experience with Azure DevOps is desirable but not required for this position. CLIENT REQUIRED TOP SKILLS: Top 5 Skills Required: 3-5 years of experience 1.
