 Role Title: Automation Test Engineer (Wireline, Wireless networks) Hiring Mode: C2C/FTE Location: Sunnyvale, CA [On-Site] Note: • Customer is fine to consider candidates with experience in Wireless (Cellular phone/ 5G). Also, candidates who worked in Android automation, Nest Team (WIF tester)/ Chromecast. Job Description:  Responsibilities: The candidate will primarily work on testing and debugging WiFi mesh networking equipment, including router (Residential Gateway) and mesh extenders in a lab setting as well as in real-life environments. The candidate will validate WiFi connectivity: Test peak and average throughput, maximum connectivity, airtime fairness, latency, rate-vs-range, mesh roaming, MU-MIMO performance, spatial consistency, collect RSSI and SINR from routers and WiFi clients to measure coverage. The candidate will work with professional lab test equipment (e.g., Octoscope or Veriwave WiFi equipment, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers). The candidate will work with multiple vendor equipment: Validation, qualification, vendor comparison. The candidate will develop an automation framework for lab test setups and OSS integration. The candidate will write TR-069 related shell scripts to control WiFi devices, orchestrate test scenarios, and collect KPIs. Scripts need to be modified to handle differences between vendors (e.g. number ethernet ports, wifi radios and supported number of SSIDs). The candidate will develop new command line tools to collect periodic statistics, ideally written in Java or Python or Go (preferably Java). Technical Skills Required: Experience in Python Automation Good experience in automating test cases wireline (preferred) or Wireless [Nice to have] automation exp in Wireline domain skills (WIFI, Switches, router) Automation experience in Wireless domain skills ( Cellular phone/ 5g), or Android platform, Chromecast Has experience in writing test plan, test cases Proficient in working in Linux/Unix environment [Nice to have] Experience working with professional lab test equipment such as traffic generators i.e., Spirent Test Center or IXIA connecting to their programming interfaces.   Thanks & Regards   Surjeet TalentmoversInc.
