Position: Automation Tester – Front end (Web Browser Testing)

Location: Mountain View, CA (Remote)

Duration: 12 months +

Responsible for creating an automation framework from scratch for UI (web browser) testing. Help test 500+ web pages. Write and review Java and JavaScript code to test code and then automate the scripts/process (using WebdriverIO or Selenium Web Driver or Cypress, etc.).

 

Required Experience:

  • Software development background (front-end developer experienced with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.) with experience as a developer prior to transitioning into QA automation
  • Manual & automation testing experience of n-tier applications
  • Hands-on experience developing automation tools, framework, continuous integration and build automation systems 
  • Experience creating an automation framework from scratch for UI (web browser) testing
  • Experienced with writing and reviewing basic Java and JavaScript code to test code and then automate the scripts/process (using WebdriverIO or Selenium Web Driver or Cypress, etc.)
  • Strong test experience with UI/UX testing (web browser) and frontend SW applications
  • Extensive experience solving cross-browser compatible front-end web experiences (with React.js, HTML5, CSS3, etc.)
  • Experience creating use cases for E2E (End to End) testing on web browser/pages
