BCA .Net Developer (Hybrid) Apply
Position: BCA .Net Developer REQ ID: MNSITE-2400 Direct Client : State of Minnesota - The Minnesota Justice Information Services (MNJIS) Job Location: The resource will perform this work on-site at: 1430 Maryland Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106. The resource will follow BCA's hybrid approach, currently requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office. This is subject to change. Mode of Interview The State will conduct interviews. The State reserves the right to remove a resource from consideration if the resource is unavailable for interview as requested by the State. Interviews will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.Project Schedule Anticipated Project Start Date: 7/1/2022 Anticipated End Date: 1/31/2023 The State will retain the option to extend the work orders in increments determined by the State. · Work with planning managers, architects, business analysts, quality assurance analysts and agencies to define and transform business requirements into technical design and programming specifications conforming to the system architecture. · Implement enterprise solutions following established BCA patterns in application development and data security. · Build, deploy and test software applications and modules using automated test and deployment technologies and tools. · Provide direction in identifying appropriate technical solutions (application and system level) that meets business objectives, which include defining technical alternatives to derive the most cost-effective solutions to meet client requirements. · Review test cases and test plans in conjunction with quality assurance staff. · Execute unit and integration testing procedures. Minimum Qualifications · Seven (7) years of experience developing ASP .NET MVC applications with C# · Five (5) years of experience writing T-SQL for MS SQL Server · Three (3) years of experience using JavaScript Desired Skills · Three years of experience using HTML5 · Three years of experience using CSS3 · Experience using Entity Framework · Experience within an Agile Scrum development team · Experience writing unit tests with the use of mocking libraries · Experience in development of Windows Services using .NET 4.0 or above · Experience using XML schemas · Experience using XSLT · Experience using SOAP web services · Experience using Web API · Experience with DevOps incorporating automation for CI/CD pipelines · Experience working with front-end JavaScript libraries, especially Bootstrap 3 and jQuery · Experience developing in a front-end JavaScript framework, such as Vue.js, React or Angular · Knowledge of Domain Driven Design concepts · Experience working National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) compliant schemas · Experience working with law enforcement or criminal justice systems
