Position Overview

Perform numerous filling and packaging operations to support manufacturing schedules. Equipment includes fillers, cappers, labelers, folders, high-speed checkweighers and automated packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions within area of specialization. Select appropriate process from clearly documented work instruction. Seek advice and guidance on no-routine or problem areas from Coordinator or Supervisor. Participation required within continuous improvement and safety related activities.


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience

• Knowledge of computer operating systems in work area.
• Basic equipment operation and calibration
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate correct understanding of routine aspects of work.
• Typically, up to 2 years of successful experience in area of responsibility
• Follow written work instructions
• Follow safety, ISO, GMP, and QSR guidelines
