JOB DESCRIPTION :
Seek for a strong candidate with organic chemistry background and manufacturing experiences.
Main responsibilities include:
• Manufacturing of organic compounds via multi-step synthesis. Performing necessary analytical tests to characterize organic compounds.
• Meet all safety and quality requirements, meet production timeline.
• Troubleshooting on raw material, production process, and product performance issues.

Job requirements include:
• Understand material SDS, follow all lab safety rules.
• Be able to follow written procedures, follow all area SOP’s.
• Be able to independently setup organic reactions, monitor reactions, perform necessary workup, extraction, filtration, rotavap, and all other necessary purification processes.
• Understand column chromatography. Be able to perform purification by open column and HPLC.
• Be able to perform TLC, NMR, IR, pH, and all necessary analytical tests.
• Understand the basic organic reaction mechanisms.
• Understand and comply with the quality system regulations in order to meet all FDA, ISO and IVDD standards.
• Be able to operate standard lab equipment, troubleshoot as needed.
• Good documentation skills. Be able to communicate to peers and management via standard written, oral, or visual means.
• Know how to develop and execute validations related to materials, equipment, and process.
• A Good team player. Be able to attend team meetings and discussions.
• Take shared group responsibilities, such as equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Practical knowledge and utilization of Lean Manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in chemistry.
