Qualifications:

Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or similar; MBA a plus. Agency account management experience a plus. • 7+ years of brand management and/or account management experience, preferably in an agency setting or within a highly matrixed organization. Experience in construction building materials, account-based marketing strategy or other manufacturing industry a plus. • Experience building brand awareness and effectively leveraging the marketing mix across a variety of traditional and digital channels and formats. • Results-driven and detail-oriented with a strong customer focus • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams through formal and informal channels. • Excellent business acumen and communication skills with experience engaging across all levels of business. • Able to effectively influence without authority; actively listens and engages across teams to build strong relationships and a high level of trust. • Maintains composure in times of stress and is comfortable working with positions of authority. Comfort interacting with and supporting executive leadership teams. • Manage client expectations appropriately with the ability to manage through challenging situations with positive outcomes. PROBLEM SOLVING – The Brand Manager reports to the Director of Brand Marketing. This individual will have strong business acumen, listening and negotiating skills to effectively translate business strategies into prioritized workload with SMART deliverables and deadlines. Must be able to manage risk to ensure deliverables are attainable, and skillfully negotiate and reach consensus and agreement when necessary. Output will define the tasks and priorities of the Corporate Marketing department in support of business goals and priorities. KNOWLEDGE - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities:
GENERAL FUNCTION The Brand Manager reports to the Director of Brand Marketing and is responsible for partnering with business unit product management on strategic planning for marketing initiatives, using their deep business and marketing knowledge to deliver against business objectives. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating these strategies to the Central Marketing Organization, providing scope and supporting the development of related project work with the Segment, Operations, Content, Production and Digital teams. Responsibilities • Grows and maintains strong consultative relationships, partnering with business stakeholders to understand their key marketing objectives for all programs, market position, industry changes, etc. • Manages execution of marketing projects/plans/strategies in alignment with identified objectives, including delivering status updates, performance reports and presentations to audiences ranging from executives to internal stakeholders (or customers) • Collaborates with and supports product management, marketing leadership and other relevant roles to align business strategies • Participates in BU strategic marketing organization planning meetings; acting as the business representative to advise of strategies, new initiatives, and business priorities and requiring support of Central Marketing resources and teams • Conducts briefings for Central Marketing team, including business objectives, strategies, requirements, budget, KPIs and schedules • Works with Marketing Operations project managers to align business project requirements to enable project planning and development of project SOWs • Articulates product attributes, value propositions, project priorities, messaging, and positioning to internal team and ensures their integration into marketing recommendations and creative • Supports department budget tracking and planning • Leverages in-depth knowledge of competitors, customer insights, product and promotional priorities across each business unit and/or business line supported • Manages issues and risk by clearly communicating across internal and marketing leadership teams, escalating as needed and deploying risk mitigation strategies as appropriate • Enables effective communication and teamwork with project teams and collaboration across departments, maintaining business stakeholder focus and driving consensus on project-related decisions
