Salesforce - the leader in enterprise cloud computing and #1 place to work according to Fortune magazine - is seeking a contractor to support the Salesforce Security Response Center (SSRC) Operational Readiness Team. The security response team at Salesforce deals with the most challenging problems in information security. When you're first reading about a new issue in the news, our Security Response Team is already working on it! The SSRC s mission is to provide a world-class response capability that ensures timely response to detected information security events. Our response includes triaging, investigating, analyzing, containing, and communicating information security events. Those events can be alerts and reports, incidents, product vulnerabilities, suspicious electronic activity, and legal-initiated investigations.
The SSRC Operational Readiness team enables and improves the company s response and coordination for high-severity vulnerabilities and incidents. The team leads SSRC operations planning, readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives, and provides a unified framework for the SSRC. The contractor will assist SSRC with project management, reporting, and documentation to include but not limited to:
Compiling and delivering reports and metrics to stakeholders, including monthly Detection & Response (D&R) reports
Leading SSRC change management processes; to include triaging corrective actions from incidents and lessons learned initiatives
Leading incident retrospective meetings and managing the outcomes of the retrospectives to ensure they are included in the corrective action process.
Leading and coordinating tabletop and training exercises with incident stakeholders.
Leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve SSRC internal collaboration and maintain team documentation.
Overseeing and leading SSRC s project management process.
The contractor will also provide project management support for projects with other teams and internal to the team.
Contractor should have a background cybersecurity program management, preferably incident response team or security operations. Contractor should also be familiar with Scrum and Kanban.
