JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Analysts are the central point of contact between the Application Development (AD) team and business process subject matter authorities. They work with the business units to gather requirements for new initiatives and enhancements to the applications and technologies which support the client experience. This Business Analyst role will have a focus on the Trade Information Warehouse. RESPONSIBILITIES: Translates user and business needs into product backlog items (shared responsibility with Product Owner). Collaborates with Product Owner and squad on backlog item refinement to champion an exchanged opinions of what the product is supposed to do. Partners with Product Owner and collaborators to incorporate Review feedback into the backlog. Required participant in all Sprint events. Required participant in all Release events. Leads workflow design and contribute to user experience design, where applicable. Document for customers and/or provide information for others to build documentation (e.g. training materials, message specs, technical/functional design, etc.). May act as proxy product owner when delegated. QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of related experience. Knowledge of OTC derivatives products, with particular emphasis on credit derivatives. Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience. Experience with business/system analysis and requirements documentation. Experience/knowledge of business process re-engineering. Understanding of Agile software development practices.
