JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Analyst 5 The Business Analyst 5 position will work as a contract resource for the State of Michigan - Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) on three projects for the Department of Health and Human Services. The first project will be to analyze and create requirements documentation of an existing small legacy Adoption application written in MS Access and VBA. The requirements document will be used for a future project (outside the scope of this position) to rewrite the application using current technologies. The second project will be to act as ScrumMaster and BA for a modernization rewrite of an existing web portal / document storage application. The resource will gather requirements from the business users, run development meetings, write user stories, and develop test plans and cases for the project. The third project will be to act as ScrumMaster and BA for a modernization rewrite of an existing alert notification application that will provide better mobile web access and security. The resource will gather requirements from the business users, run development meetings, write user stories, and develop test plans and cases for the project. Skills Required: • 5+ years of experience gathering requirements from users. • 5+ years of experience creating wireframes or screen mockups. • 5+ years of experience with Agile / SCRUM processes and working a Sprint Development team. • 5+ years of experience translating development requirements into user stories and acceptance requirements. • 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps / TFS using boards. • 5+ years of experience acting as SCRUM Master for the development team. • 5+ years of experience running sprint planning and review meetings. • 5+ years of experience writing test plans and use cases.
