Description

Individuals in this position have demonstrated experience in the standard concepts, practices, and deliverables related to Business Analysis in support of software development projects.
Understands how to gather and document requirements.
Has a working knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Some familiarity with the use of standard market Testing tools.
May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area.

The specific services/tasks requested for this engagement are:

1) Requirements Management Plan: Work with the Project Manager to finalize the project management sub-plan outlining the methodology, techniques, and strategies surrounding the elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation of baseline requirements.
This deliverable will be considered complete upon final approval by the Enterprise Information Services (EIS) oversight analyst assigned to the project.

2) As-Is and To-Be Business Processes: Engage with internal and external project partners to elicit and document both As-Is and To-Be Business Processes.
Documentation of business process will consist of process flow diagrams, business logic, business rules, outcomes, and other flow representations that are satisfactory to TSPC with narratives.
Gaps between current business processes and the identified desired solutions will be identified.
Documented and approved To-Be business processes will be utilized in the development of Solutions Requirements and the relationship/traceability between the two must be included in the final documentation.

3) Solution (Functional and Non-Functional) Requirements and Analysis: Lead the project team in the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of detailed solution requirement documents for the Project.
Consultant shall conduct Joint Application Design sessions with project partners for the purpose of defining and documenting all functional and non-functional requirements for the Project as a whole.
