Below is a summary of the position
  • This position will be responsible for understanding and documenting business/technical/user requirements so that appropriate solutions can be developed to meet those needs.
  • This will be accomplished by identifying user problems with the existing system and opportunities for reengineering.
  • Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience should include solid background in project documentation, user problem identification, problem assessment, vendor management, financial analysis, development of alternative solutions, cost/benefit analysis of alternative solutions and working with technical resources/vendors during the design, development and implementation phases of the project to ensure that business needs are being satisfied.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, proven problem-solving ability and excellent negotiating skills are essential.
  • Experience with financial analysis such as ROI, project budget tracking
  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Office specifically in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong skills in creating process flows, string skills in Visio.
  • Experience with data query tools and data analysis.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project management environment.
