o Business Analysts (BA) and

o Business Systems Analysts (BSA which is like BA but with ability to do some Data Analysis, run queries, look at code, etc.)

The number one attribute that is required is knowledge of Life/Annuity/Supplemental Benefit products such as:

o Product structures

o Coverages

o Riders

o Financial structures

Valuation

Investment options

Tax

Fees

Etc.

o Financial modelling

Forward projection

Reconciliation

Working with actuarial

o If you have anyone who has experience at an Enterprise level working on Insurance Product Design/Engineering with tools such as Camilion (now defunct) or HP Product xPress (now DXC) that would be the sort of talent that would really stand out.
