CASH APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST
Pay Rate: $20.00/HR
8:30 AM- 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:
Perform the cash application / posting function for the SSC Worc businesses in a centralized Accounts Receivable environment utilizing SAP. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform timely and accurate posting of cash receipts to customer accounts and balancing the cash applied on a daily basis to bank account balances and amounts reported in the Treasury workstation. Research and assist in solving payment discrepancies by identifying all short payments and over payments on a daily basis and providing the Credit team with supporting documentation. Also Process write-off's and adjustments as requested and approved by the credit Team. Perform other duties as required including participating on initiatives to meet SSC goals and objectives and customer-sponsored special projects.

Qualifications:
2-4 years of progressive work experience with cash applications or AR receivable is required. Must be able to work independently on complex payment situations while handling high volumes of incoming cash receipts. Experience with integrated ERP (SAP, QAD, Exact etc...) and Microsoft Excel is required. Strong organizational skills with a high level of integrity and accuracy. Results Focused – Must possess good basic math skills with strong attention to detail and error prevention. Teamwork - Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others, including being courteous with others when requesting or transmitting information, asking questions or seeking clarification.
