Must Hold Below basic documents:
- CNA License for California state.
- BLS (American Heart Association Only)
- A government-issued ID (Driver's License/Passport/Birth Certificate)
- Drug screen attestation (if no current drug screen results are available)
- TB test (on any form)
- Immunization Record
Job Details :
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA's) fill important roles in modern healthcare practices. Their primary job duty is to provide routine care, observe patients' health, assist doctors and registered nurses, and communicate instructions to patients regarding medication, home-based care, and preventative lifestyle changes.
Job Responsibilities of CNA:
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Conduct basic hygiene and nursing care, including administration of prescribed medications and the therapeutic effects, treatments, and disease prevention, as ordered by the physician.
- Collect information regarding patient status and report the results to the Primary Care Provider
(PCP) or RN in a timely manner. - Provide patient/youth education and accurately document care in the approved format, noting and
carrying out physician's orders. - Assist mental health professionals by contributing to the treatment planning process and the formal
evaluation of patient/youth progress by monitoring and recording observed patient behavior. - Participate in the training of patient/youth in activities of daily living and assist in routine treatments.
- Communicates with patients and their families.
- Observing and recording patients' conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
- Attends general and medical staff meetings and participates in quality improvement projects.
Requirements of CNA:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possess a current and valid license issued by the California State Board of Certified Nurse
Examiners. - Twelve (12) continuous months of CNA experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in a public or private institution.
