Our client is looking for CNC Machinist to join their team in Acton, MA.

What to know about this CNC Machinist Role:
• Weekly pay
• Pay $18 plus based on experience
• 1st Shift hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift hours: Monday – Friday, 2:45 PM - 10:30 PM

Overview of the CNC Machinist Role:

• Operate CNC machines; Haas, Hurco and Okuma machines to produce quality,
precision, cost-effective machined parts on a production basis with minimal supervision
• Perform its own first part, in-process quality check and deburr
• Follows all processes and procedures
• Ensure jobs are run in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery
• Read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure correct tolerances
• Responsible for quick turnaround of parts and accuracy within established guidelines
• Responsible for working in a safe manner
• Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking
environment

Who makes a Good CNC Machinist?
• Ideal candidate should have minimum 1-3 years of CNC experience
• Knowledge of Machining in a manufacturing setting or related experience and education
• Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
• Ability to use probing
• Experience with quality systems and processes Excellent problem solving skills
• Good communication skills - able to interpret and explain data
• High standard of attention to detail
• Ability to manage time and prioritize work in an effective manner
• Demonstrates teamwork skills
• Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods,
approaches while being cost-sensitive
• Commit to continuous learning
• Ability to strive in an environment of constant change
• Familiarity with the tools of the trade and SolidWorks
• Able to conform to the company’s culture of quality, service and continuous
improvement, while taking personal responsibility for your own actions and treating
fellow employees, customers and vendors respectfully and ethically
