Job Title: Site Administrative and Testing Coordinator

Job Description

Location/Division: Specific Information

Madison, WI: Spectroscopy

How will you make an impact?

  • This individual will support administrative tasks, on-site COVID-19 testing and other site needs under the direct supervision of a Technical Supervisor.

What will you do?

  • Conduct document management, as well as site administrative and support tasks as assigned for the site.
  • For On-Site COVID Testing: Organize and run sampling events, retrieve laboratory samples according to procedure, ensure specimens are shipped to the designated laboratory and Ensure all tests are accounted for in the proper ordering system.
  • Maintain awareness of turn around expectations & organize work duties to ensure expectations are met.
  • Provide support to COVID Committee on various tasks as needed.
  • Support other site tasks as assigned.

How will you get here?

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Experience using computer software for work activities.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Good computer knowledge and skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and documentation requirements
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to follow directions closely

Additional Detail:

  • Role: Temporary
  • Assignment duration? 6 months
  • Possibility the assignment could be extended. Yes
  • Position hours and days? Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00 pm, but some flexibility. Up to 40 hours
  • Interview process: 1st Phone; 2nd In person
  • Required experience that a candidate must have for consideration? Somewhat listed in REQ administrative work, limited technical or testing work, computer knowledge
  • Intangible skills you d like to see? People person; Organized; Good work ethic; Ability to follow protocols and directions
