Job Description

Position Summary

The CRM System Administrator is responsible for providing the technical and strategic support for the CRM Dynamics environment including assessment and implementation of new capabilities, functionality and a long-term perspective on the relationship of CRM technology to the business requirements of the company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day end-user and technical support of CRM Dynamics on premise; including related customizations, reports, forms, views, dashboards and workflows
  • Establish governance process, policies & procedures for the use of CRM enterprise; whilst adhering to the global architecture and governance policies
  • Resolve technical issues with servers, authentication, IIS, Exchange, SQL, SRS and other related technologies to CRM
  • Work with IT and business groups to improve collaboration services by gathering business requirements and translating them into technical requirements, utilizing in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
  • Manage system security, system patching and upgrades of CRM Dynamics working with Microsoft and communicating via Change Management and/or user communications on system availability
  • Developing SSRS reports using Microsoft SQL and FetchXML
  • Maintain code repository, VSTS backlog and source control
  • Documentation of the CRM environment, including configuration and architecture, security layers, privacy/compliance, and continual enhancements/changes
  • Work with corporate security to continually enhance the security and compliance posture of the CRM platform
  • Review and monitor usage reports, providing as needed dashboards regarding utilization, capacity, and performance
  • Develop process automation with VMS, phone system, Cherwell, JIRA, Salesforce and other systems
  • Training and support of the business users in their day to day involvement with CRM, including education of the functionality and capabilities of collaboration applications
  • Ensuring consistent release management, change management and project approval processes; Attend Change Control board meetings to determine the impact of changes in the infrastructure and how they will affect your systems

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of all technical and functional areas using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 and/or Dynamics 365 CRM in an enterprise environment
  • Extensive knowledge in Dynamics CRM entities, workflows, configurations, customization development, integration development, reporting, dashboards, web resources, CRM solution file management, security model and UI development
  • Experience in customizations, JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML, SQL Server, SSRS including plugins, scripting and form creation
  • Experience with CRM API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints
  • Strong understanding of and ability to configure security groups, roles and teams
  • Comfortable using Visual Studio, TFS/VSTS, source control, CRM SDK
  • Experience with web development, SDLC, agile development, and change management best practices
