CT Technologist Apply
Under the supervision of the Radiology Leader, performs CT examinations. Performs a variety of procedures which require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation to obtain CT. Will perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum 2 year AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology, associate or baccalaureate degree preferred. Certification with ARRT. CT registered or registry eligible within 12 months of hire preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. 12 months experience preferred. Radiation Safety training & MRI safety training for non-MRI Personnel.
Licensure: Certification with ARRT. CT registered or registry eligible within 12 months of hire. Experience: 12 months experience preferred. Certifications: Certification with ARRT. CT registered or registry eligible within 12 months of hire. Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within a reasonable time-frame (generally within 6 months), based on skills, knowledge and experience. Other: Good oral and written communication skills.
