!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ON CALL POSITION!!!!!!!!!!Starting $20.00 hrPosition SummaryThe Catering Attendant is responsible for providing superior service to our customers at catered events. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year banquet/wait staff experience and the ability to work as part of a team devoted to providing outstanding customer service. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds.Job Responsibilities Ensure that work area is always neat, clean and organized including, but not limited to counter, tables, chair, floors, sinks, storage area and equipment. Receive deliveries of food. Communicate to management if any product is missing from delivery. Prepare the banquet room for the event, following the Banquet Event Orders & the instruction from the Catering Manager. Serve guests as needed & fits the standard of service. Clean throughout the event. Breakdown the event, returning dishes to the dish area, putting away service items in theirproper locations, and cleaning the surfaces of the space. Check expiration dates daily and discard any expired product. When expired product isdiscarded, be sure to report what was discarded to management. Take temperatures of any hot food that is delivered. Maintain hot food while it is out for service which includes, but is not limited to takingtemperatures, mixing product, replacing finished trays with new trays, etc. Ensure all catering drops are correct and meet company & client standards. Respond quickly and respectfully to client needs and report all changes/concerns tomanagement Follow all safety policies, procedures, and protocols All cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, wiping counters, dusting,cleaning equipment, etc. Maintain personal hygiene & required uniform standards. Complete other tasks as delegated by managers.
