 Client Development Manager (Hybrid) Client is recognized as a leading national employment and labor law firm that continues to build momentum on the heels of increased national attention on workplace issues. We are currently seeking an experienced Client Development Manager to join our team to manage, implement, and support the efforts of our highly active and growing Atlanta and Tennessee offices (Memphis and Nashville) as well as work with various national practice and/or industry groups. This position reports to the Senior Client Development Manager and can be worked in the Atlanta or Nashville offices. For more information regarding Client Position Responsibilities Coordinate local business development efforts, including national initiatives/programs that stem from the firm's practice groups, industry teams, and firmwide marketing and business development Coordinate activities with local associations that will benefit the firm, our clients, and our business goals Create and measure the effectiveness of marketing and social media campaigns, in collaboration with the firmwide marketing team Work with attorneys to create, implement, and track individual marketing plans Meet with Regional Managing Partners (RMPs) on a regular basis, collaborate to drive business development and marketing needs of individual offices, and track/report progress Coordinate client and prospective pitch materials; collaborate with the proposal team to drive RFP responses Coordinate administrative tasks including processing invoices and managing vendor contracts and relationships Meet with RMPs and practice group chairs on a regular basis, collaborate to drive business development and marketing needs of the practices, and track/report progress Work with RMPs and practice group chairs to develop and track annual business plans and budgets, and ensure goals and objectives are met throughout the year Identify and aid attorneys in developing strong relationships with industry and trade associations that will benefit the firm, offices and practice group Conduct client, prospect, industry, competitor and market research to instruct business development and brand initiatives Collaborating with local marketing and BD support, assist with the coordination of practice group events, sponsorships, advertisements and speaking engagements. Support the development of office and practice-specific event presentations and other customized marketing collateral Coordinate and host events, webinars, and other content rich programming Support the development of event presentations Contribute to and manage the annual rankings submissions (Chambers, Legal 500 and other key ranking directories) for specific practices and offices as applicable Collaborate with the firm's media team to identify topics, campaigns, and initiatives that would further support the firm's brand locally and nationally Work collaboratively with regional marketing and business development managers, other industry and practice group client development managers, and firmwide marketing team to support national initiatives/programs for assigned practice groups Be an active contributor to the firm's business development and marketing functions and support its goals through collaboration and sharing of ideas Personal Attributes Dependable and collaborative Responsible and takes ownership of work product Creative Conscientious and resourceful Attentive and efficient Confident and professional Skills and Abilities Business development acumen – business planning, research, pitches/RFPs Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional client service attitude and demeanor Strong analytical and leadership skills Adept in marketing technologies, including CRM tools Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and manage multiple deadlines Position Qualifications At least ten years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services organization. A bachelor's or advanced degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism or a related field or law. Travel required among assigned offices, as well as to various meetings and conferences.
